Advanced Form Fields brings your form’s personalisation to a next level with more complex, deep and useful functionalities.

Phone

Phone component allows users to insert their phone number.

With your client’s number, you can send SMS with news, offers, notifications, guides, and more.

Check their properties and functionalities for each tab.

Details

Label text

This is the name of the field, indicating what the user should insert.

You can type, for example “Type your phone number below”.

Description

Here you can create a brief description of the field to clarify its purpose, if needed.

It’ll be shown just below the field.

Default Country

From a dropdown menu, you select the default country of the phone number format.

Show Only Countries

Next, you may also select which countries the numbers will be accepted from.

You can select multiple countries without a limit of how many you can select.

Exclude Countries

If you are going to accept a wide range of countries, it’s possible to just select the ones you wish to exclude from the listing.

That means you’ll be accepting all numbers, except those from the countries selected.

Message

Here you select SMS templates that will be sent to those who provided their phone numbers.

These templates are texts you can use over and over, allowing you to send similar messages to many clients.

You must configure your Twilio SMS and use this App to create SMS message templates.

With the templates on-hand, you can select your proper one in the “Select SMS Template” dropdown menu.

Also, you may configure these messages to be sent manually or automatically after the user’s submissions.

To automate the SMS forwarding, just check the “Automatically send SMS Message on App submission” checkbox.

Validation

Here you can click the Required checkbox to make this field mandatory.
